Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation or using our facilities.
By accessing the Selva Austral Lodge website (selvaustral.cl) or making a reservation with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
All lodge reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by our reservations team. A reservation is only confirmed upon receipt of our written confirmation email and any required deposit payment. Enquiries submitted via our website do not constitute a binding reservation.
Guests must be 18 years of age or older to make a reservation. Valid government-issued identification will be required at check-in for all guests.
Lodge rates are displayed in Chilean Pesos (CLP) and US Dollars (USD) and are subject to applicable Chilean VAT. Rates are per lodge per night and include the amenities specified in each lodge description. Additional services (spa treatments, guided expeditions, dining beyond included meals) are charged separately.
Payment is due as specified in your booking confirmation. We accept major credit and debit cards. All payments are processed via secure, PCI-DSS certified payment gateways.
Standard check-in time is 15:00 (3:00 PM). Standard check-out time is 12:00 (noon). Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Private airport transfer service departs from Puerto Aysén Airport according to a schedule communicated at the time of booking.
Selva Austral Lodge is a rainforest conservation estate. All guests are required to respect the natural environment, wildlife, and ecosystems of the Aysén Region. The following are strictly prohibited:
The Lodge reserves the right to request the departure of any guest whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the safety, wellbeing, or conservation values of the estate.
The Explorers' Club is an exclusive gaming salon available to registered lodge guests only. Guests must be 18 years of age or older and must present valid identification. The salon operates in accordance with Chilean gaming regulations under Law 19.995. The Lodge promotes responsible gambling and reserves the right to impose limits or exclude any guest at its discretion. Casino chips and winnings may not be exchanged for lodge credit.
Wilderness expeditions and outdoor activities carry inherent risks. All guests participating in expeditions must sign a liability acknowledgment form prior to departure. The Lodge provides experienced naturalist guides and appropriate safety equipment. However, participation is at the guest's own risk. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel and adventure insurance for all guests.
Selva Austral Lodge's liability for any loss or damage suffered by a guest is limited to the cost of the lodge stay (excluding additional services). We are not liable for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, weather conditions, or acts of third parties.
All content on selvaustral.cl — including text, photography, illustrations, and design — is the property of Selva Austral Lodge and is protected by Chilean intellectual property law. Reproduction or commercial use without written permission is prohibited.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Aysén Region, Chile.
